Frederikke Brasch
My name is Frederikke Brasch. I’m a 25-year-old Danish girl currently based in London. I love to travel the world, meet new people and see different places!
I work as the Relationship Manager at Preadly, a blogger platform which enables you to customize your own bloggerfeed. Furthermore, I have my own blog: braschontherun.com. The name describe of the blog describes who I am pretty well! I’m always “on the run” looking for something new and exciting!
I am passionate about making healthy lifestyle choices and I care about how I feed myself and look after my body. I love to combine my sporty wardrobe with fashion items and you never see me not wearing a pair of sneakers! Truly, I am a 'sneaker-head' with a shoe collection that grows bigger and bigger by the week. As I like to say: 'Good shoes take you good places.' As an Adidas Female Running Ambassador, I am very fortunate to always have access to the latest within shoes, running gear and fashion apparel.
I’ve always been very active. When I was younger, I did horseback riding at a semi-professional level, and in high school I was on the football team. For the past two years, I’ve been part of the urban running crew NBRO Running and I have completed my first two marathons as well as three halfmarathons with the support and love of the crew. Before joining NBRO, I had never run any further than 10 kilometers. However, the amazing people of NBRO inspired me evolve as a runner and as a person! The personal victory of running a marathon is truly beyond words. It is something I believe everyone should try out for themselves.
When people ask me why I run, the answer is simple: I run because it makes me really happy and well-balanced. I particularly enjoy the longer runs which I find give me an amazing kick which I have become addicted to!
For me, running is so much more than running marathons and achieving new PB's (personal best). It is a lifestyle that has taken me to many good places and it has created so much positive energy and good vibes in my life. Had I not taken up running two years ago, I am positive that I would have not been able to achieve the things that I have today.
