CHIA BREAKFAST
Even though I love to cook a healthy breakfast every morning, sometimes I don’t have the time or energy to make a big ‘pancake circus’. Therefore I was very excited to discover these ready-made organic breakfast products from Superfoodies. This makes it possible for me to create a healthy, tasty and filling breakfast in no time, with everything I need for my marathon training. The Chia Breakfast is made of selected foods that contain an unusually high content of essential nutrients (including antioxidants and vitamins), otherwise known as ‘superfoods’, these beautiful breakfasts simultaneously deliver a substantial portion of the recommended daily amount of vitamins and minerals. Which together with my PurePharma supplements makes me healthy and fit for the day.
Superfoodies Chia breakfast mix comes in three different flavors, my favorite is the one with goji and Inca berries, which contains a lot of antioxidants and C vitamin together with important Omega 3 and Omega 6 from the chia seeds. It’s totally organic, gluten-free, milk-free, soy-free and without any nasty additives or chemicals.
Personally I make it with almond milk to get it extra creamy, you can also top it with bananas if you need extra energy before a long run.
Right now you can only get it in selected health food stores, like Urtehuset Helsam in Frederiksberg and Ø-helse in Amager but hopefully it will be available more places soon. I’m already a big fan!
