Copenhagen Marathon

Sunday the 18th of may i did my first full marathon. In the previous 6 months I’ve been running 3 half marathons. My goal for the race wasn’t speed, as it takes years to know your body and I’m a relatively new runner. Instead by goal was just to complete, and hit the finish line filled with joy, happiness and a little sore legs. It wasn’t easy but I managed to do the race in 4.42 hours which I’m more than happy about.

I was so luck to have a lot of friends and family cheering for my. My running club NBROrunning was standing on Queen Louise bridge, where I passed both at 12k and 37, they did an amazing job cheering and you felt like you could conquer the world when I ran through the crowd. So much joy and love was in the air that day! I feel so blessed to be a part of a running club like NBRO. After the race we all celebrated the race at Zoo Bar, where be danced all night long. Which is just in the spirit of the NBRO as our motto is ‘Run, Party, Repeat’. I’m a 110% sure it’s not the last time I’m running a marathon! Nbro copenhagen marathon

Best cheering crew you can wish for! nbro copenhagen marathon frederikke brasch nielsen
