GO BANANAS!

Bananas are packed with the nutrients that are especially important for fueling an active lifestyle. Potassium plays a major role in muscle function, having enough potassium in your diet can help prevent and stop muscle cramps. Magnesium allows your body to better access energy from the food you eat while also speeding up the body’s healing process. The best time to eat a banana to benefit your workout and running is at least an hour before or right after. I always eat a banana before my runs!
