High lights from Chicago Marathon

I must say I’m very proud and happy about my race result. I finished my second marathon in 4 hours and 18 minutes. That’s 22 minutes better than my first. I had wished for 4 hours and 30 minutes, but my body and legs felt so good I just kept going. As I was running the marathon this quote keep poping up on signs from cheering people on the streets! “Pain is temporary pride stay forever” And that’s so very true! My first marathon i didn’t knew my body so well, and I had no ideas of how much I could push it! But this time everything just felt so right, and I even had energy to sprint to the finish line.
On the run. This picture is taking around 20k.
Checking the time on my GPS watch! I was very surprised I could hold the same speed during the whole race. I didn’t hit the wall as I did at Copenhagen Marathon.
I would love to go back and race in Chicago again! The course was perfect, not to many hills and the cheering and vibe was amazing!
