My training- Your inspiration – QA with Healthyskinnybitch.com

My cool friend and health blogger Sara Jin Smidt asked me some questions about my training and how I gets inspired. I was very horned when Sara asked me, she is herself a big inspiration to me and i follow her blog daily. Furthermore is Sara personal trainer and fitness instructor. I’d been to her classes a couple of time, and they push me to the limit. She’s probably the best and most hardcore trainer I ever had.   Make sure to follow her amazing blog an get inspired: Healthyskinnybitch.dk image Behind the alluring blog Brasch On The Run one finds Frederikke Brasch Nielsen. This cool lady loves to run and has an outspoken passion for Nike sneaks – of which she has an admirable collection. When she’s not on the run, you’ll find her travelling the world – preferably with her world renowned model sister, Caroline Brasch Nielsen – or hanging out at her parent’s amazing deli Fredco’s in the heart of Copenhagen town: A must if you are looking to stock up on some greens.   What I admire most about Frederikke is her relentless energy and bright mind. After talking to her, all anyone wants to do is tie up those laces and go for a run. That’s why I’ve asked her to share what personally motivates her in her training – also on the days when she just can’t be bothered! image Name: Frederikke Brasch Nielsen. Age: 24 years Job: Blogger & Relationship Manager at Preadly. Training? I run primarily. At present I’m training for a marathon, but I also enjoy swimming and biking. image How long have you trained? I’ve always been very active. When I was younger I did horseback riding at a semi-professional level and in High School football was a big thing. In the last two years I’ve been part of the running club, Nbro-running, and have run one marathon and three halves under their flag. Before joining Nbro I hadn’t run further than 10 kilometres. How often do you train? I run about 3-4 times a week. One long, interval training, as well as two sprints. What is healthy to you? Healthy is taking care of your body with a balanced diet and exercise. I care about my diet but at the same time it is essential that it doesn’t become an obsession, which hinders me socially. I love to train and it is beyond description what kind of kick running a longer run gives you. But at the same time it’s also necessary for me to let my body have its days of rest with a clean conscience. image What is the coolest most liberating experience you’ve had, training-wise? Definitely running a marathon! I cried when I finished. I cried of joy and of pain. When I’d run 30 K I couldn’t feel anything but pain. The last 12 K were literally never ending – the rain was pouring down and I was freezing when I finished with blue toes and stiff fingers. Yet despite all of that – it was so worth it. I felt invincible in the weeks that followed – a feeling that I am definitely looking forward to reliving. The personal victory of running a marathon is truly beyond words – it is something one needs to experience for oneself. image When are you least motivated to train and how do you overcome those “low’s”? When I’m stressed at work or with working on the blog. But those situations are exactly when I need training the most to keep my thoughts at bay and release some endorphins. In those situations, having a running club is quintessential. It’s just a little bit easier getting out the door when you know a big group of lovely people are waiting for you. What does training mean to you? Training strengthens both my physical and mental well-being. I feel more comfortable about myself when I do daily exercise. I don’t need to run a marathon several times a week – of course;) – it could just be a long walk or a couple of laps at the local pool. What are your best tips to a healthy wellbeing? Everything in moderate measures! I know it sounds awfully cliché but none the less that’s just what I’ve experienced on my own body. I feel best when I eat and train, but also when I allow myself to enjoy life. It’s not during the weekend you develop an unhealthy lifestyle – it’s from Monday to Friday! imageFrederikke Brasch Nielsen is an huge inspiration to me. She loves to run, travel and has a has a Nike sneaker collection to die for! She is amazing full of energy and I always feel motivated to jump into my running shoes after talking to her. So I asked her what motivates her and what she does when she really don’t feel like working out.”
