Urban training – Do it yourself !

Making sure to keep my body active and being in shape means the world to me. I love running and doing outdoor training during the summer. I’m not a big fan of fitness and indoor training. It quickly becomes boring and monotone just to stare into a wall. The plus from working out outside is it’s free and the fresh air feels amazing! Something is always happening around you and it’s a great way to feel the life of people around you.

Jumprope is one of my favourite forms of cardio. I can do it anytime, anywhere, and all in one location. The exercise tone both arms and legs. It burns as many calories as running which is always a good thing!

No time, no excuse. There’s always time for a quick time workout!
2 minute jumping jacks
30 squats
2 minute jump rope
30 dips
2 minute toe taps
30 bench crunches

It’s been said that moderate aerobic exercise reduces depression, increases quality of sleep, and improves cardio health!

I usually run 3-4 times a week. One day is track where I run 10 x 400 meters in pace 04.10. 2 other runs is normally 8-12 k in pace 5.20. In the weekends I try to go for a longer slow run around 12-21 k in 5.45 + pace. I love all kinds of sport and further more I swim 1-2 times a week and bike everywhere I go.

Always remember to drink a lot of water after a workout. Staying hydrated is essential for beautiful skin, good health, and endurance during workouts. How much you need to drink depends on age, gender, height, weight, exercise intensity. But most doctors recommend drinking roughly 2 litres a day.
