WHO RUN THE WORLD GIRLS

Last week the adidas girls and I where so lucky to go to Stockholm for the Pure Boost X event. All the adidas girls from the north where gathered for the event, which made us around 120 girls in total. Pure Boost X is a shoe made for women by women, so what made the day extra special, was that it was held on the international women’s day – The perfect way to celebrate pure Boost X!

The evening was hosted by Shahrzad Kiavash a swedish girl who has been a double amputee since 2012. Even though she has lost both her legs, she has not lost her will to live. Shahrzad told us about her journey after the incident were she lost both her legs, due to a very rare illness, and that she is now training for a triathlon – Super inspiring woman, who truly makes you believe that anything is possible!

At the event we were separated into four groups. Myself and most of the other girls from Denmark were selected as TEAM POSITIVE. 30 treadmills where place in one of the two rooms at the event. Each group had a 15 minute interval training program on the treadmills with two coaches from adidas.

It was not just your regular interval training though! There was a DJ, loud girl power music and flashing lights every where! The music was great and the energy was high! It felt more like a fun party than a workout! The shoe was comfortable, light and it felt amazing to be able to try it that way, with so many other girls at the same time. If you want a good running and workout shoe the Pure Boost X has a cool look and a perfect fit for the female foot and I highly recommend it!

At the second room of the event there was many cool things like a running photo booth, delicious foods and drinks and this amazing mood board where all the girls where able to right down their thoughts about why they run! I wrote: “Because it makes me a better person”
