YEEZY BOOST
During NYC Fashion week, Adidas officially launched Kanye West's new sneaker collaboration . However, two days earlier, he had already shown the Yeezy Boost to the public during his performance of "Only One" at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Kanye's first collaboration with Adidas Originals showcases all the best elements of his personality. It includes unique elements from both his music, culture and style. The shoes, which are limited-edition and which will have their official debut later this month have an exquisite design made of beautiful, yet simple materials. The silhouette surpasses the usual trends in footwear and it takes sneaker design to a new level. Included in the soles are also Adidas' latest boost technology meaning that the shoe combines comfort and exclusive design (I will publish the interview I did about Ultra Boost in NYC by the end of this week).
Yeezy BOOST was presented on February 14 at New York Fashion Week. It will also be presented during the NBA All-Star. Reservations for selected adidas stores, Foot Locker and Champs Sports can be obtained prior to launch viathe Adidas confirmed app. The app is the first of its kind and will make the reservation process much simpler so that the distance between the producer and the market decreases. A limited number of Yeezy BOOST will be available in other selected stores in New York.
I love, love everything about this shoe and I really like how simple and clean it is. The colour is super cool, very natural and back to the roots... And I'm sure the boost is gonna feel amazing in the Yeezy!
For a sneaker freak like me, this feels like Christmas and birthday combined! I'm so excited to get my hands on the Yeezy Boost as it is probably the sneaker I have been waiting on for the longest time! I'm a huge fan of Kanye's music myself and I have met him a couple of times in NYC. We have a Mutual friend who invited my sister and I backstage at Watch The Throne in New Jersey three years ago.
